I'm looking to purchase a cheapish show jacket so I can give my hand at some shows with my new mare to see how we get on. But I'm having issues trying to find a jacket to fit as they all seem to be on the large side. I'm a size 8 petite person and was wondering if you knew what kind of size I would be looking for.

I cant seem to find any 32 sized adult jackets that are cheap and the 34" jackets are too big. The childs 32" are too short in arm once I start moving.

So what size would you go and what make is best?

Sorry - but I have absolutely no simpathy for anyone who is a size 8.....;)

Only kiddin, lucky you! You probably need to go to a really big horsey store and try them all on - then go away and google the cheapest ....

I always do this when I am looking for new stuff as it is very very difficult to judge the true colour/feel of stuff via the internet. The Caldene jackets look fantastic though.
