This has probably been done a thousand times but I am looking at buying my horse a competition saddle for Xmas. I purchased him a Silhouette Saddle that is almost a replica of the Albion K2 (same tree etc), however, I find it very heavy and some what a bit uncomfortable to jump in - great as an everyday type saddle. His a big 17hh Hanoverian but he fits a medium tree. I was hoping to find something a bit more lightweight and close contact for the bigger jumps. I was considering these makes & models - any suggestions or reviews?
