Hello Suffolk HH forum people.
I have been asked to help a family who are moving to Suffolk, anyone on here would could advise by pm? Would like to find out about show centres who hold jumping at lower level, need not be BS just yet.
Knowledge of riding clubs, livery, jumping lessons, would be appreciated,
Thank you.

Which part of Suffolk?
In West Suffolk there are SJ competitions at the Jays and at Topthorn. No doubt at other venues also but SJ is not my thing. Also just over the border into Norfolk is Overa, and just over the border in Cambs is Fenning. There are plenty of riding clubs, again I only know of St Edmunds RC based in the Bury St Edmunds area. Livery really depends on where - finding a decent yard in the Newmarket/Bury area is pretty tricky, I think the East of the county may be better in that respect.

No idea which part of Suffolk at the moment as we are all based abroad,
I am doing research for a non horsey family with a daughter who rides and is bringing her horse to uk.
So ideally we are looking for grass livery at a competition centre, or a livery establishment that can offer transport to jumping comps and RC PC events, including coaching.
The young lady would be eligible for pony Club, whats the branches in Suffolk?, any help appreciated.
PM would be fine.

It's a big county. As well as Topthorn and The Jays, there is a competition centre near Lowestoft. Also Newton Hall EC has SJ regularly As well as St Edmunds, here are several riding clubs round Ipswich - Suffolk, Finn Valley, Deben and Colne Valley, and more up the coast (Halesworth and Beccles&Bungay.) Pony clubs include Easton Harriers, Suffolk Hunt and Essex&Suffolk. The clubs all have their home areas, so it all depends where the family live.
