I posted a week or so ago asking if anyone could point me in the right direction to obtain the show jumping record for our horse which was imported from Holland a year ago. Someone gave me an email address knhs.nl I asked them for her record and got a reply giving me her dressage record anyone know who you go to for show jumping records as this horse is supposed to have jumped big tracks and I would like confirmation.

Looks like she might not have jumped abroad. You could try the other federations in case she wasn't in Holland, is she reg on the BSJA website?

When does the dressage record start/finish?

Below is what I received from knhs and I also show the question I asked them - this is all a bit strange!! How do I check BSJA. I am in Northern Ireland with SJAI and she certainly hasnt been registered here. I will telephone knhs and see if there is any more information. She was sold for 40,000 euros 3 years ago to Germany and the guy treated her badly so that she was afraid of men but in the year here she has totally recovered. AT least that is what I have been told so far but I want to know more.

knhs

the horse Lilana's has made it in Dutch dressage to L1-level with 3 winning points.

If she jumped in Germany, contact fn@fn-dokr.de. At the risk of stating the obvious, it is advisable to check records before purchase rather than after. She's not on the BSJA database - very easy to check - just click on Horse search on the left side of their website. I suspect that you have been duped by the dealer.

It is a long story but I didnt buy her I did a private swap of my supposedly superb show jumper who was petrified of jumping and in 18months we couldnt cure him of his terrors (he is becoming a dressage horse as he has superb paces and has taken to it like a duck to water- he actually won his 1st competiton and he will never see a show jump or pole again)for this sweet mare who just jumps for fun, she has a superb jump and is very careful, we are getting her fit at the moment to see her full potential and I am curious to search for her records - doesnt actually matter as she jumps 120's for fun and doesnt touch a pole. The girl who had her has spoken to the breeder and she has definitely jumped at 140-160 level and there is a record out there somewhere I just have to find it. I will email Germany and see what that produces
