Well, it certainly went much better than last weekend!
We went to Bold Heath E.C unaff show-jumping, and did the 75cm and 85cm (would have done the 95cm aswell but couldn't be bothered to wait around, lol

).
The morning started with Blu refusing to load, took 20 minutes, silly moo

Got there in plenty of time though, and warmed her up and walked the course which had christmas trees next to all the wings! Was a nice course though, and had a little skinny type fence included.
So went in and she did a lovely double clear and won it

Was very pleased with her.
Warmed up again for the 85cm, and just had a run out at second part of the double (all my fault), but jumped really well all the way through

Saw Flic and Shrimp there, but was too shy to go and say hello, incase she though I was some kind of weirdo lol

Also bought some bling from their onsite tack shop

Sorry for the essay!!

Oooh I saw you leading your horse back across the car park, I arrived about half way though the class, and as I went to look at the course everyone was going wrong or getting eliminated, so I tacked up and went in the collecting ring, had no help so I asked how many till me and the steward said 2!!!!

Cantered around a few times (avoiding 2 girls walking 2 abreast

) and then jumped the upright which was about 1m by this point

(for an 85cm class!!)
Any way went in and got a bit lost after no2 managed to get back with crossing tracks (jumping3 on a near right angle!) and carried on clear (big lad was jumping out of his skin

) but Janet gave me 4 faults! Going back to Ovidius' post about venues you dislike, thats one reason bold is quite high up on my list!!! Well done anyway! I am going to Aintree next Sunday, only went to Bold for a change of scenery! I saw Flic too!

That practise fence did get a bit stupid didn't it? I only popped her over it a few times for the first class, I never bother for the other classes! The warm up was quite manic at points..
Glad to hear your lad went well too

I thought I saw you!! Yeh I am quite shy but no doubt I'll see you around again. I watched you jump the 75cm and you jumped fab! Well Done!! Blu really reminds me of my old pony.
Warm up was a bit mad wasnt it?! I stood in the corner for ages eating a kit kat whilst the worst of it was on. Shrimp got frustrated with all the wating around and the mad wizzy ponies, tis why I dont showjump!
We had a pole int he 85cm but he jumped so much better than he did last week so was really pleased. In the 95cm we had a stop as Shrimpm was fighting me but again he jumped well and my confidence has definitely increased back up again. We came joint 3rd as there were only two in the jump off!
Think we're going to Aintree next Sunday, anyone else?

I get so many laughs when people hear his name!! The girl doing the entries thought it was rather amusing

Btw I didnt give it to him, was his racing name but how they came up with it i'll never know!!

ETS: let me know if you are going to Aintree!
