We took Tully and Badger up to a BSJA show at Astley today, was intending to do 80cm unaffiliated on Tull but the course looked a bit much for him so we decided against it. Got him out for a ride round and a hop over the practice fence - he was a little sod!!
Really giddy and silly. Trotted into a cross pole, he spun round a couple of strides out and decked me, AGAIN!!
got back on after he pranced around the warm up for a bit and he was a bit better after that, but he's in the bad books at the moment!
I was planning to do Discovery and 1m open on Badger, but we'd been waiting around for ages anyway and the BN looked a decent track so entered him in that. He jumped FAB!! He really tried hard to clear everything.
So onto the jump off, jumped really well again, missed one of my turns and then he slipped so not the fasted round ever, but we finished second!!!
The ground was like concrete and he was lame last week so we thought we'd call it a day seen as he was such a good boy!
Well done if you made it this far! Cookies for you!
