I am in the lucky position of looking into buying some show jumps (i love my Dad) so i wondered if anyone knew of a good place to buy them from?
How many to buy? I have 20x40 arena
Wooden or Plastic?
Any advice or information gratefully received!!
Thanks

We have some jump for joy fences, 3 sets. We use plain wooden poles tho.

Our arean is a little bigger than yours, but with the 3 jump for joy fences (can be left out in all weathers) have 2 other sets of old wooden heavy wings and a poly jump stand i cant fit much more in lol

Def prefer the jump for joy, they are light enough to move around and are tough to leave out in all weathers.

Plastic wings (jump for joy) wooden poles, horses get complacent with plastic poles.

I thought def wooden poles but great idea to have plastic wings as they will be left out in it most of the time. thanks. i am SO excited can't quite believe how lucky i am to have my own arena and now some proper SJ!!!!

I bought mine off eBay from a chap based in Worcester. PM me if you want his details.
Very reasonable and I went for 20 wings, 15 poles and 24 (I think) cups and 3 lots of fillers. He chucked a gate, water trays and a stile in for free

Hi Wondered if you would mind letting me have details of your guy in worcester too - does he have a website. Used to use Dovey Woodcutters incredibly cheap but can't get him to answer the phone!
