can you please show me your bay foals during there foal coat change please as would like to see what they look like as mine is looking quite strange like she might end up grey
Mine's not really representative so I won't confuse you with a pic of what he did. He was basically born adult bay colour (not fawn) and shed out to black before ending up seal brown.
Does yours have a grey parent, as she can't be grey if neither of her parents are.
Here is my fella - holding on to his foal coat for grim death, so not very exciting, but think he's going to look like a giant exmoor pony! Very pale muzzle, bright bay nose into dark bay forehead! Going very dark bay on his neck & bum but around his stifles & back legs are becoming very pale like his muzzle!!! Pretty sure I used a trakehner stallion - maybe it WAS an exmoor instead!!
On Day One & a little squashed from being in Mummy so long!
At 5 weeks & very bright bay!
11 weeks old - bright bay fading & dark bits arriving!!
His black bobby socks are now chocolate, so will be interesting to see how he ends up! I love his creamy muzzle so just hoping that stays!
