Used it.

Many people around this area swear by it for weight gain and condition. It retails at around £10.75 a bag so would work out at a lot cheaper than the ration I am currentyl feeding.

Apparantly this is all I need to feed , no other food.!!!!!!!!

So as the title has anyone else used it, and if so what are your opinions?

I've never heard of Quality horse feeds but balanced do a show mix.
My skinny horse loves it but a bag only last me 5 days if thats all I feed.

Sorry rechecked, it is balanced horse feeds!!!

What is your experience.?

At £10.75 a week it would still work out chaper for me to feed this food even if I supplent it with something like Alfal-A oil.

A few poeple near me swear by it but I have never heard of it willing to give anything a try

I hated it personally but it could have been the amounts he was fed. We were on part livery where they used this and I found it worse than useless. Didn't keep weight on and had no real benefits. Also found it difficult to moderate when unable to ride, e.g. snow, as couldn't cut the feed as he needed calories....

I used it for my daughters warmblood to get the weight on her and it was useless. Balanced just kept telling me to give her more and more. Now she is on fybergy, pasture mix and kwikbeet and I have no problems
