Hi, I know this seems to be all I post about but I renamed my new mare Clover, and now we're about to send off her passport to change it officially but we need a show name that I can compete her under BE and BSJA. She's 15.3hh, coloured IDx mare. Sweet and placid on the ground, but fiery and flashy under saddle. Any suggestions would be greatly suggested as all we seem to be able to come up with is 'Touch of Clover' and 'Clover's Rose'.
Thank you in advance!
(Ps, please no four leaved clovers as it's so popular she would end up being BE registered as 'Four Leaved Clover VI)

What does is curently say on her passport? I have never had to register a stable name on passport. IMHO I would leave her show name as it already is on the passport, no matter if you dislike it - She only needs it for registration - you can call her Clover in the ring if you wish.

If she came over from Ireland she may well have no name on the passport, if she is competing BE/ BS then she will have to use her full passport name when she competes.

You will need to provide several choices if you are sending the passport to Ireland to have the name put on, if the first choice has been taken they will not put a number on, although BE/BS will.

A few ideas

Lucky Clover, there is one BE but it has not competed for many years.

Flashy Clover
Splash of Clover
Just Clover
My Clover
Bright Clover
My Lucky Clover

I haven't checked all these on BE but most are ok

Or use something that means something to you as the prefix/ suffix, your village or house name, almost anything can go in front of Clover and sound fine.
