Hi,

I am going to be taking my 2 year old to a few local shows this year to get him out and about a bit and need some help with a show name for him.
His passport just says Bailey but would like something fancy :)
Cant upload any pictures sorry, but he is a 14.1 Bay (not a dark or red) with a big white blaze which nearly goes over his left eye, 3 Socks and half a wall eye. He is an Arab x Cob
Lovely head and a slightly lighter body than a cob. He is a very cheeky but sweet boy.

Thanks :)

My Bailey's bsja name is Bailey's Glide after he drink that seems to have disappeared!! He is the colour of baileys though. Bit different for your lad. Do you want to call him something to do with bailey or just any random name?:)

I have a 'baileys irish cream' registered with BE, but he's also a baileys coloured dun.

what about -

baileys on ice
fancy a baileys
bail me out
bounty hunter (thinking along the bail theme)

I can't think any more. i'm rubbish with names.

My Baileys is registered with BE as Ice Cold Baileys - he is another dun and the colour of Baileys in the winter.

Every commentator since day one has made the "original" comment along the lines of "Oh I would love one of those now!" So I would advise you to keep away from the drink related names unless you want similar ;)

Sorry for long reply!! Been off walking the dogs in my lunch hour! Wicked ideas thanks guys.

I dont mind if Baileys is in the name or not. I picked his name before he was born as I thought he was going to be a skewbald (seemed as both parents were and their first foal was!!)

Will try and upload a picture tonight ( his mum is the coloured in my siggie)
Baileys on Ice was what I was thinking :)

Be careful of putting a brand name at the beginning of a name as if in later years you want to register with certain societies it can be a problem. Also, if you register with BE for example you have to use the name on the passport unless it is either not acceptable or already exists, in which case you add the next roman numeral, so for example, your There is already a Baileys on Ice registered and it books like your Bailey would be Bailey VIII.

Ok thanks for the info. Bailey is just going to be a hacking horse for my husband and some local shows. Always wondered why some horses are called ie Bailey then with a VIII :)

For local shows in unaffiliated classes anything goes, just have some fun!

I took over a sj pony, owner used to call it 'solo polo peppermint pride', i put her in as 'going solo'
