Hiya,

Try and think of a name that suits her :
For a palomino with brown eyes you could say brown eyed honey.
When you get to know her habits and character you will find a name that clicks!
Good Luck!

Is she passported (registered) as Dyonne? If so, then you can't change the name on her passport, so you will have to stick with it. You can however, if you wish change her stable name. To be very honest, unless you really dislike the name, I personally don't agree with changing a horse's name, especially their registered names, as the breeder will of put time & thought into a suitable name, or one that allows you to recognise the stud at which she was bred at.

The only reason I'd advise against changing a horse's registered name is because it costs a lot to do so, I think it was £60 or something when my cousin reregistered hers

Unless you buy a smart maxi cob and open the passport to find the name Hairy Mary. There is not a great ring to hearing the commentator say Mrs xxxx xxxxx riding Hairy Mary.
