Some believe it's bad luck to change a horse's name?

Ah, that is only a British thing apparently. Over here (Holland) they all change their horses names and think we're crazy

So I changed mine (her original name was the same as my Mum's which was just weird).

You could call him Swayze. Or Spiritual Manifestation (curtosy of word thesaurus). Sorry, brain not warmed up much this morning, I'll have more of a think.

Wevenge is a lovely horse and I quite like his name. Sounds like Revenge being said by Jonathan Ross!

I also like what's been suggested in thread 'Wevenge is sweet'

I bought a lovely lightweight chestnut cob a few years ago and she was called Poppy which I didn't like for a horse so I changed it to Amber. Didn't bring me or her bad luck!

Wevangel? I don't like Wevange; nobody will pronounce it right and it sounds like revenge, as many have pointed out. Casper means 'treasurer', so maybe you could work on that.

You are supposed to keep his BSJA name the same as that on his passport. They will also stamp his BSJA number onto his passport so really it makes sense that the names should tie up.
He's lovely by the way!.
