Show name, stupid question really!!!

Hi there,

probably a stupid question but...

I am taking my 3 yr old to her first in hand show next week and am cofused as to what name to enter her under? When i bought her she was wild off the mountains and the stud had given her a name Cwmdistaw Sophie, she really did not suit Sophie at all and my friends horse was called Sophie so i decided to call her Tegan anyways i am a little bit superstitious so did not want to change her name on her passport so when i enter her should i enter her as Tegan or Cwmdistaw Sophie?????

Or because it is a small local show will it not really matter?

As it's a small local show it wont be really matter so it's up to you really. I really like her show name though to be honest even if her stable name is also nice so I would use that as it's a bit different.

Just a thought, could you change her name on her passport to Cwmdistaw Tegan? That way you won't get any bad luck as you are not technically changing it completely...
