Show on Sunday...Warning, self indulgent:p

Went to a small local show on Sunday. First class I entered was best ridden, was my first time showing and probably pony's as well. Started off well, but he tried 2 bolt a few times in the group canter

but to be fair to him there was a chestnut messing around behind him. Was around 10th in the line up before the individual show. Typically, as soon as it got to our individual show, pony wouldn't budge

so ended up pony-club kicking most of the way

He did show nicely though once we got going, but I wasn't expecting to get placed very high up, as it was a big class. Nearly had a heart attack when I was pulled in 3rd

Also did best condition, but didn't get placed, which I was a bit disappointed about as he did a much better show....but I suppose greys just don't shine

Well done both of you, I'm sure your pony will be a bit better next time too, once they know what its all about.

Dont like the look of those thunder clouds in the background though!

Kenzo - yes we did have a few downpours throughout the day but luckily they didn't last too long!
