I finally have a trailer and plan to go to a dressage comp next month.
Have I forgotten anything from my pack list? (first time I have travelled a horse)

Horse:
Saddle (white numnah)
Bridle
Headcoller & leadrope
Grooming kit
Haynet
Rug
Travel boots & tail guard
water & bucket
Passport

Me:
Boots
overtrousers
show jacket
coat
stock & pin
hat (& velvet cover)
gloves
test sheet
money
(I'll be wearing my jods & shirt under my scruffy stuff)

I used to have a list I'd use and print off every time I went out. It was very useful. I can't think of anything off the top of my head, except that I'd recommend breaking everything down - for example, my friend went to a competition once and forgot her girth. She had a BIG warmblood and had to squish her into her friend's small Arab's girth, once friend had finished her test! Not amusing at the time!

Also, I always put "horse" at the top of my list... it would be just my luck to get there and find the trailer empty...

ICE numbers on phone
spare leadrope (incase of breaks)
Dressage test books
A good friend just to be there!
