Show Q. Pot event or Pot riding horse? Inc photo.

Taking Adina to a small show next month (all being well) there are 2 in hand classes that I think are suitable but am not sure which one to put her in?
Potential event or potential riding horse?
Opinions?

They are one after the other in the same ring. Can you do that? I wasn't sure

No reason why an eventer couldn't be a riding horse as well - in fact a lot of riding horses go onto eventing, and some eventers retire into the show ring to become riding horses.

Theres no reason you can't try both, that way it'll give you an idea how she looks up against others in same class.

It's fine, don't worry - just check the schedule in case there is a stupid rule that says you can't do both!

Definitely do both I think, as you say, a show can be a long day and distance for one class!

Ok thanks. Better get practising then! I used to be rather good at tail plaiting but tried it before her last show and took it out because it was so bad!!! LOL

Do what you prefer, I pull as its much easier and less stress on the day to worry about plaits falling out or whatever. Its stressful enough without worrying about a daft plait in the tail
