Went out today to do a bit of stressage. Haven't competed for a while so wasn't expecting much.

Well I underestimated her! She warmed up beautifully, really soft, supple and forward. Went into the walk and trot. Did a good test but need to work on my accuracy. Finished first on 69%!!! wow! Was gobsmacked!

Went in for preliminary 13, canter was a bit fence and again need to practice ring craft but finished second on 70%, winner had 70.84%!

Considering the last show I did she bolted with me and I scored 55% I think she is improving :D.

Had a hour and half wait till next class, Novice 22, didn't bother warming up as dee is a hot horse, went in first and came second on 66%, the winner pipping me to the post by .84%!!!

All I need to donis work on her canter and on my accuracy and I'm sure I would score higher!

So very proud of my horse, I was so nervous about today, but she did me proud!

Yay well done! I love D, and think she has what it takes to go really far up the levels from what i have seen, she is so impressive. But like you say as long as she stays chilled lol.

Really pleased for you today, especially with the novice test, what a great score and placing.

No piccies? :( lol

No just me and mum today and leg was plauing up so was really quite dependent on her. I love my mum, she helps me whilst still giving me dignity :)

dee dee is goig so well lately, riding is all about fun and I seem to be gettin less and less scared and more and more confident and happy!!! I was smiling the entire time I rode today :)

Because I am very nervous in canter. I'm a disabled rider and am just really starting to ride well again. In the past dee blew up in walk and trot tests but now I have won I won't enter again.

Fair enough reason :)

Sore point today with me as friend was doing a prelim (she got 73%) but was beaten by a woman who also competed in elementary. I guess she had her reasons too.
