Took Murphy and Sert to a pony club show today.
It was Serts first showing show
First was Sert in Small hunter, he was so good there was 4 in the class and apart from being a bit stong (couldnt stop lol) after the gallop we were pulled in 2nd. the judge then rode and he was a bit strong with her but gave her an ok ride so we moved down to 3rd after he'd been stripped
Then it was Murph in the open hunter, he was brill going round untill the gallop where he bucked
monkey. so we were pulled in 2nd but after he gave the judge a fab ride we were pulled in 1st
Next was the novice workers with Sert, jumped the first two fine but we were eliminated at the straw bales and white poles, we will get there
Then the open workers with Murph and he went clear
but went on the wrong leg in the second part so we were dropped to 4th
Show jumping next, Novice with Sert, no height on the schedual so didnt really know what to expect. They were full up 2ft6 and number 6 was a skinny with a scary filler. He flew the first 5 but stopped at 6, jumped it find the 2nd time and flew the next 2 but just clipped the 2nd part of the double. I was SO pleased with him, hes not jumped that height with me yet, so happy with my boy
Murph then had the intermediate and the open to do. We had a lovely double clear in the intermediate and came 2nd. In the open we had a fence down and came 3rd
