hi
Just got back from a show on my little old man. I haven't shown him since last july so i wasn't sure what he would be like! Anyway it was just a nice little indoor show, just went along for something to do really!
There wasn't really much for him to do there but as i said above, just something to do. first he went in the open working hunter, over 14.2hh, he's only just 15hh so felt a bit small in comparison. The course was up to height and very spooky, as a result there was no clears (of about 12 people) even though we had 3 poles down
we went back in. He was going lovely but whilst canterig around together, he suddenly went really stuffy and started to get more upset. Turns out he had got his tongue over the bit- which scares him!! Kindly the judge let us pop his bit up a hole as it was due to it being too low (forgot which hole to put it on!) He did a lovely show after this and got 4th. I'm so pleased with him as he's a 19 horse with cushings only just in the height group!! got a lovely comment from the judge at how well he looks
After this he went in the riding club horse and did a better show but unforntunately didn't get placed.
Hopefully pictures soon to come in the picture gallery
