I'm entering a green little 6 y/o in a few classes in a show tomorrow, and I'm very nervous! She can be very nappy, especially towards other horses, which has improved, but she still has her 'moments'. I've got a green ribbon to put in her tail, and the whole point of the show is to give her experience, not to collect rosettes, but I'm still nervous she's going to act up in front of everyone and I'm going to look like a total idiot! I'm quite used to riding in front of people while schooling but this is one of my first 'proper' shows :o Can anyone help?!

I would get there as early as you can, to allow your girl to take in the sights and sounds for as long as possible before your class.

Don't feel foolish, they all have to start somewhere! Even if you have to take your girl away from the others in the ring and walk her round, keep in your mind that it's education, nothing else.

Good luck! :D
