Men on the hunting field love him, they always ask who bred him. When I say "no idea, Stow Fair job" they don't believe me!!! Might carry that first photo in my pocket in future actually, lol!

I like these transformation threads! Firewell, your youngster is looking fab! SmallHunter, how old was your grey when he arrived?

but d'you know what? No-one wanted to even ring up about a pony who could win all day long for them this winter (even when price was dropped to silly money), but was still young and would need a little guidance along the way. Sane as houses too! So when my lorry's fixed, I'm gonna go make them regret that, as all the red rosettes will be mine mwahahaha!!!

Thank you spookypony :)
Your boy is looking much better, he has so much more topline over his back in your 2nd picture :)

wow berkeley, she is looking much better - poor thing, all those white marks on her back :( any ideas were they saddle, rugs, other etc....???

I've shown these before but love to look at them! We've not quite reached the after yet, wait till piccies in Spring I hope!

Will get some October ones as well!!

Looks fantastic! Well done you!

I love buying scruffy, thin (or obese) horses/ponies as its so rewarding to make them look so much better and make something out of nothing.

Some of mine:

This is the same horse as in my siggy - he arrived as a 5yo full of worms and was depressed for about 4 months! He's now got over £1k BSJA winnings and 17BE points :) He's definately my best accomplishment to date (he's a lot lighter grey nowadays!):
