showa/atlas/gardening gloves???

Yes all the time light and you can do most jobs in them but not really warm last well but in really cold weather you need more something more insulated.

I find them a bit sweaty and yuck. Not sure they will be of much benefit to sensitive skin. The Showa thermal ones are thermal knitted cotton stuff and being thicker quite good for winter. None of them are waterproof which is what you probably need.

I get non powdered nitrile milking gloves (disposable) and fleece gloves from tesco for £1 for completely waterproof and warm hands. Just chuck the top glove when it's ripped or dirty :)

my skin isnt that sensitive just need something to protect my eczema :) wasnt too sure on the thermal ones as need thinner ones for doing buckles up etc

I like the Showa ones :). You can (with a bit of skill and effort) turn them inside out and pop them in the washing machine.

Mind you, this is maybe not to be advised, as my washing machine seems to eat right hand gloves... I now have a vast collection of left hand gloves in different colours, but usually only one right hand glove. i have been know, in desperation, to wear a left one on my right hand  It's at times like that I know I must be a bit special :D

I have loads of the Showa ones and if you get them in the right size they are brilliant, I also have the Showa thermal ones and the lined long rubber gloves - all are absolutely ace, I have a smallholding and do all outdoor tasks in Showa gloves

Big fan lol

I bought some hi viz sealskins cycling gloves last winter, warm wind proof and waterproof! And were only 10 quid off eBay and I can't lose them because they're bright yellow :)

Brilliant thanks, Yeah they dont look that warm but just hope they will protect my skin

Well I have not very good skin and have to watch what I get on my hands or I come up I huge red lumps these gloves do make your hands sweat its a bit like wearing a neoprene back support but not as sweaty I find that quite good keeps the fingers moving and I like the way the palms protect you when picking out feet but not so bulky you can't use your fingers when it's cold I use sealskiz waterproof gloves but I prefer these they are cheaper the dogs knick my gloves when I am not looking so I have to watch the expensive ones like a hawk when I fill hay nets and the like.

I have severe eczema on my hands and use these - they are fab most of the time but if you're doing a lot they can get very sticky and very irritating to sore hands. They also smell quite badly after a month or so's wear but I do tend to keep buying them as they're just the right thickness. Wont be over-warm in winter though!

I feel your pain, the eczema on my hands is driving me mental!!

I use mine all the time!!! 4 pairs that rotate in the wash and when it's cold or really wet I have doctor gloves on underneath. They are one of my best winter survival tips !
