Showing a New Forest

Hi all!

I have had a New Forest X on loan for a few months now and having lost a bit of weight and worked on our schooling we are ready for some local (unaffiliated) shows!
Now I just need to know how to turn him out - how much trimming and tidying should I do for M and M ridden and workers? Do I actually need to take anything off - I have only shown the super hairy, no trimming allowed before?!

By the looks of him, you don't need to do anything major!! Its all about them being natural. He's lovely, by the way!

as he's not a pure bred you can't show him as a NF and in M&M classes (even locally they usually say they have to be registered)

You will be best to trim and pull and plait his mane and enter him in regular WHP classes
