We lost our horse in January myself and my daughter and she bought herself a 8 month old Dutch warmblood colt.

At her farm where she keeps they have a little show on bank holiday in August and she wants to take him in a yearling class.

It is a while since she was in the inhand showing lark so what should she wear outfit wise and what should he be shown in. He will be 1 year and 2 months old.

I would turn out as a hunter - tweed jacket, shirt, tie, trousers, sensible boots and hat. For horse - being a yearling you could put him in a filly slip or a bitted in-hand bridle with a plain, flat browband.

As above. Trousers - not jods - and good shoes and a hat, which can be a hard one to protect from rearing hooves, or a soft one. A hat finishes off the outfit. Gloves are a good idea too, and a short showing cane can be useful.
