Hi all

I am a bit of a showing novice but I am hoping to do a few little shows over winter ready for next season.
I ride a Black 15.1 Welsh D who is relatively clipped and pruned, think he is too trimmed for M&M classes, but thinking of trying some hunter classes or riding horse classes
What should I be wearing? I am willing to buy a green tweed, but should it be a lighter or dark green?

Any responses would be appreciated please,
Thank you In advance :)

Sorry I am no expert at all, but I think the jacket you wear depends what class you do. M&m is certainly tweed and the shade and colour is your choice. From what I've seen the welsh d's are pretty well trimmed. Feathers should be left but manes can be tidy and pulled but not too short. Look on google images to get an idea. Good luck and if you just do local level then they are more lenient on turn out. :-)
