showing armbands?

it might just be me having a blonde moment but ive got a show coming up and it says on my entry form ' Eligible riders are to provide and wear a yellow armband ' - what does this mean? why do i need a yellow armband, and where the hell am i going to get one from?

It will probably mean there is an extra prize for something. For example, I show my New Forest pony and sometimes it might say in the schedule that there is a rosette for the best forest bred pony, if you are eligible for that you have to wear an armband of whatever colour they specify so the judge knows who they can or can't award it to. So check what the yellow armband is for to see if you do actually need one. When I've needed one I've just put tape round my arm.

If you read the rule book of the show or breed society they explain.

I've forgotten which colour is for what but some are for amateur produced horses, veterans etc etc
