Showing 'blemished' horses

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Instead of a 'pure' showing class, maybe these classes could be judged using a broader remit, with the emphasis on the animals 'way of going' the confirmation of the horse is not always affected by a scar, the quality of the ride no less diminished.
In this politically correct age it is considerd very non PC to discriminate against those a little different than the norm!!!
 
Aside from conformation classes, beauty is as beauty does. If you have a well trained horse that does its job well, you should be able to compete on an equal basis with the unblemished horses.
 
You most certainly should, my freinds sec d has a large wart on the side of his face he has been placed 1st 3 times in olympai qualififers this year and never out of top 5 in any class he has done often with more than 40 in a class
