Can someone please advise me as to whether I can "get-away" with using my dressage saddle in a riding horse class instead of a show saddle? ...or should I just ride him in his GP?
I haven't really enough money to buy him anther saddle at the moment.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks.

Is it local or county level? I understand that some ride judges don't appreciate having to ride in a dressage saddle but this is only what I have heard. I would probably use the GP unless it is very forward cut.

It depends a little on the style of dressage saddles. Some of the traditional styled ones, like the ideal jessica, can work in the showring. If it is a very modern style dressage saddle, or one with huge blocks, I would select the GP. If it is more traditional, you'll probably get away with it fine :)
