I'm looking for new things to do with my beloved pony as he is having to retire from show jumping due to a tendon injury which no longer allows him to jump. He is still in the very early stages of recovery but vets are hopeful he will return to a good level of work just without jumping. He is very true to the show jump pony type whereby he is fizzy, easily excitable and enjoys a buck...This said though, he does move incredibly well and won his first dressage test as a 4 year old and was 4th at the championships as a 5 year old. He is now 6 so still very young and needs a new career!! We could go to dressage but i was thinking of showing him too. But...i have no idea what class to do. He has a small lump on his ear from when he was bitten as a foal and it never healed properly so i don't think showing judges would like this...He also has some white marks on his front legs from tendon boots...And lastly he has a prophets thumb print on the right side of his neck. Although they are meant to be good luck i fear he would also get marked down for this.
He is 14.2 and a chestnut Welsh x Holstein with a stripe and 2 white socks behind...if that helps!
