I have a very loud, tri colour near leopard appaloosa as many of you will know.
Im planning on taking him out and about this season, but for his riding horse classes he will need a posh browband. But what colours do you put on a chap who is every colour under the sun?! He has mainly bay spots, but some chesnut and black ones too.
So, thoughts?

Cream and black velvet?

I think by introducing another colour, things may get a tad busy...

I'm lucky that my spotty is more of a hunter pony stamp, so do not have to get into the business of picking colours!

Red and black would look amazing on that gorgeous head, check out Designer Browbands or similar. Would think you'd get away with quite a broad one too :D

My boy is a near leopard spotted and he is tri coloured though he is a darker bay and his spots are black. This is one of the browbands I used on him:

He also looks amazing in navy and gold. Dont have a pic of a browband but this is him in navy matchy gear:

The colours that look best on him are;
Black (brings out his spots), burgandy, bottle green, brown, grey and baby blue and navy blue. He doesn't look very good in bright colours as I think it just makes it too busy.

And thanks! Love your appy too! Much prefer the loud leopard spotted spotties, especially the near leopards as they have pretty faces :D

I would have thought a velvet plain scarlet or yellow would look nice. But i like the bottle green idea but I would have thought that one colour rather than 2 or more would be less busy.
