Showing - does anyone have a brown hat/beagler?

i need to get a new show hat and the one i was looking at comes in brown too but there no pic of it and i cant think if it would look good or not! thanks

what classes are you doing? there are some classes you can get away with brown in and some you realy realy cant.

im only local / RC level. WHP classes. my pony is chesnut so just thought it would look nicer?

If you'll still be wearing the green tweed I'd stick with navy, you need a tweed with brown in it for a brown hat IMO. Although if you're looking for an excuse to splash out on a new jacket...!

i think you may be right brown might not look right without a brown jacket.

I think navy would look better with that jacket. In pony classes and coloureds you can get away wtih brown hats. If you are doing horse classes, i.e. riding horse, hack, cob, it is unusual to see anyone in anything other than navy (or black for men).
