Showing (H.E.C) and Hog(ing)

Heyya,

I am hoping to take my gypsy vanner x to H.E.C ( Halstown Equestrian Club ) a local show but he has a full mane and tail etc... I love it but he sweats so much and I think it weights him down abit so I might hogg him and shave his legs etc I want to knw ur opinions? He has rubbed some of his mane off on one side so it looks scruffy plus a full mane and tail feathers etc is soo hard to keep clean! Opinions wanted ! Xx
