Showing help needed

Doing my first ridden Novice pony/ rider class on Sunday and I haven't a clue what to wear! And I'm showing my Connemara x cob who's feathers have been clipped off but still has a full mane but do I need to plait him or do I leave his mane and tail? It's not m&m so I don't know if he needs plaited or not?

Yes if heels are trimmed then mane plaited and tail pulled or plaited

If pony has a full mane and you cant do a thing with it then you'll have to leave it and take your chances

At a low level show if you turn up on time, clean and tidy and with a clean pony and tack then you are in with a chance in my experience
