Hi guys
My mare was backed last year by myself and had a break over winter.
She has just come back into work and want to do a show on the 26th which is just a local show and am thinking of doing novice horse...
What do I have to do and wear? I have a tweed jacket, beige jods and long boots.
She is a tb x connie about 14.3 4 yr old, do you think she will be ready in time as I have just started doing canter work with her, but has taken to it like duck to water!
Thanks! :)

Take her for the experience and enter on the day if you feel she is up to it...could do an inhand too. In the novice class at local level you may be asked if you wish to canter together in the go round and can opt out if you feel she isnt up to it [ask the steward if they dont offer] and just do canter in your individual. Bound to benefit from the outing in terms of getting there and mixing. Tweed etc sound fine for local level gloves hat and hairnet too [ hate seeing straggly hair!!]
