Hi, I'm thinking about showing my cob in local level showing this summer. He's a traditional cob so all the hair. My only thing is that I have a grey tweed with a black collar which I'm noticing nobody seems to compete in however I don't want to be buying another jacket when we're only doing a couple of shows. Can anyone give me some ideas on what shirt and tie would look best?
Thanks :)

I haven't seen many people in grey tweeds, so a quick Google showed up the best colours imo are a pale yellow shirt and navy tie :)

People may contradict me, but I always have a bit of a uncomfortable feeling seeing navy mixed with black... I would go with yellow shirt and a burgundy tie since the collars are black

yea i've just been googling the blue and grey and i think it would work except for the black collar so maybe a burgundy might work better :) think it'll be trial and error really

I don't like burgundy and grey either, the collar is a difficult one! I think i'd prefer a darker colour with the black collar than a brighter one though.

i think blue looks nice with grey so maybe a navy blue because of the collar or could i use a tie thats maybe a grey, blue and black or will it be too much?
