I've entered in class which has 14 classes before it, starting at 8am, most of the classes have around 9 enteries already (a couple have more, some have less). All the classes are young stock inhand showing.

What time do you think my class might start? I don't want to arrive hours early and end up with a bored 2yo!

Thanks in advance

I would allow 20 mins a class of 9 - to allow for entries not turning up, a quick judge. Better to allow to little time than too much and have to rush.

In hand classes are fairly quick - a walk round, trot to the end of the line, trot up in front of judge and final walk round. I was in a class of 8 yesterday and we were done within 25 mins.

If they start to get bored, a walk round the show can help. I am very lucky, mine at that age was quite happy to stand with a net watching things goes past.
