I am competing at a county show at the end of May and i'm entering the novice riding horse class. Is it correct to wear a snaffle bridle? I have got a coloured browband and tweed jacket, or is it correct to wear a navy jacket. Many thanks in advance.

You can use a snaffle or a double/pelham bridle. It is up to you and depends entirely on what the horse goes better in. A coloured browband is correct with a tweed jacket.
Hope this helps!

My exracer is going in the novice Riding Horse at Devon County in May and he'll be going in a double. But like FMM says, it depends on what your horse goes best in. Good luck!
