Im in need of a chunky thick show cane having been told mine resembles a 7 year old childs! hahahah

So Ive been hunting the internet and tack shops and they all look like mine do, any ideas anyone?

Try specialist showing outlets like Pretty Ponies et al or ebay. Failing that you can never go wrong with a bamboo cane. It depends on how thick, long, colour, style etc you want.

I scoured the stands yesterday and didn't find a single cane I would be prepared to carry in the ring at a County show - where did you see them???? I'm back there on Sunday.....

I don't carry a cane - I carry a Wembley whip. It's plaited leather with a polished horn top: you can get them at most good showing stores

You sometimes see canes in antique shops though that would be down to luck finding one.
