Showing people - some help needed re in hand bridles!

Could anyone help me??
In hand hunter showing - is it acceptable to use an in-hand bridle with slightly raised browband/noseband with stitching or is it better to use just plain and wide?? Any ideas where I can get a nice one of these??!!

I would say a plain brown hunter bridle looks better, we get ours from the local tack shop.

If you are just starting out and not sure how much showing you are going to do Kincade actually make an okay double bridle for about £30 - however I recommend the Jeffries double if you are splurging.

Is it for an adult horse, or a youngster?
If adult, then a normal riding double bridle
If a youngster, a snaffle bit on an in hand bridle
Shires make a very broad plain one suitable for hunter type youngsters
