Depends on what sort of show, what sort of classes.

Generally a shirt and tie, hacking jacket and beige trousers are the order of the day, with stick and you should wear a riding hat. However, lots of shows are more relaxed and you could wear a shirt and smart waistcoat, black or brown trousers.

Again depends on classes, but if its a fun show leading from a snaffle bridle should be OK. I used to use a pelham or double.

Hey this is all fun

Classes are best turned out
Best looking gelding !
Judge would most like to take home

Its only fun but dont want to look to much of a prat !

Is a Stock, black jacket, cream jods, leather long boots and hat ok ?

And a Snaffle bridle off reins ?

I personnally wouldnt wear long riding boots, theyre hard to run in.

I show alot and i wear jacket, shirt, tie trousers the opposite coulur to your horses legs ie beige on dark horses legs, black on light and cat boots.

Whatever you do though make sure you wear glooves and DO NOT wear trainers

Dont forget you can improvise a little, you could buy a cheap white school shirt and stick it in the wash with a new unused bright yellow duster, your shirt will come out cream, again trot along to a some charity shops, you may be able to pick up a a nice polka dot tie, or a tweed wast coat or hacking jacket/similar sort and some beige trousers.

as your doing best turned out then you would want to go for shirt, tie, trousers, short boots, gloves, hat and either a tweed jacket or a waist coat.

bridle with reins over the head is fine

Echo the above. Wore a charity shop shirt and tie for years. Little things, make sure hair tidy, don't wear a button hole with a tweed jacket, cut the corners of your number to make it an oval rather than a square, take a nice tidy piece of cotton or elastic for your number rather than use the piece of string provided by the show. Defo wear a tie and collar rather than stock. Good luck.
