I know there's a lot of questions for showing advice on here, must drive the pros crazy! But I'd just like some advice on what classes my TB x Cob would be suitable for? I'm only going to start off with some fun local ones, but then if the judges take to him maybe try some bigger ones, just to get him out and about really :)
He's currently 16h, only 4 so still growing, more cob than tb as he's quite chunky, and has quite a deep body. Originally, I was thinking about hunter classes (most shows around here just have 'Show Hunters' and 'Working Hunters' not all the different types of them) but then I started reading about all the different types and didn't know if he was tall enough/heavy enough/deep enough. So then I started thinking Riding Horse but he doesn't look extremely athletic! Hahaa, so any advice please?
Here's a few photos (I hope!) of him in-hand last year and then being trotted a couple of months ago... Thanks for any advice!

*Oh, and just as an idea, the grey stood next to him is a 15h full TB*

He wont make a show hunter I'm afraid - these tend to be "pretty" tb or tbx types. He may make a working hunter depending on the quality of his jump and confirmation - he will more than likely make the right height for it.

Not really sure on the riding horse, but I would think he *may* be a little too chunky for it.

Thank you! Any ideas on a class that would be suitable? Yes I imagine riding horse to be ISH and such. Re working hunter, I'd like to probably try it out later on at the end of summer as he hasn't jumped a lot due to age. Thanks thouhh :)
