Afternoon everyone!

Looking to do some small local showing classes with my mare this summer. I am reluctant to hog until I see if she enjoys herself or not. Would I be better plaiting or just tidying and leaving her mane? (It's about half way down her neck at the moment)

She's around 15.2, quite chunky. Bottom left photo shows current feather (doesn't grow much)

You’ll need to clip feathers and plait I think. Unless she’s registered Welsh?

Thank you! Not registered welsh unfortunately no idea of her breeding!
