I have a sec B that we show, not sure sec d would be any different.
We leave his mane natural, so not pulled, but just tidied. We were advised to take his feathers off, and it does look much cleaner on him. Plain bridle with flat noseband should be ok, nothing fancy or extra like bit guards. The people I have seen with sec D's mostly have a cane with a chain or suchlike on the end of it to flap around when trotting. Hope that helps, like I say its just what I have seen, so may not be completely accurate.
 
Very pretty filly.

You:
Tweed jacket, velvet covered hard hat, well fitting shirt (collarwise) tie, dark trousers, jod boots, cane.

Filly:
Bridle sounds perfect, ideally with a leather lead rein with a coupling attachment, but reins would be ok otherwise.
If you are intending to do M&M classes, I would not trim her at all, long mane and feather, as clean as you can get her. :)
 
Leave the feathers au natural; manes and tails are pulled but to look au natural; and also tails are trimmed to just below hock length but to look au natural.

Does that make sense? Generally speaking, tidy the mane, lightly pull the tail as this shows off the bum, and rough trim the end of the tail not straight across.

Everyone says natives are shown untrimmed.......untrue! ;)
 
Technically as she's a partbred then she should have her mane pulled and plaited and feathers should be removed.

What elderlycoupleindevon says for you to wear is good, but also make sure you have gloves.
