I Have been to local shows but never really got anywhere... I loan a welsh sec D x Nf she has gt 2 scars on her back leg... Is there any pasific tack for m&m ect...
please help have show coming up 14th september!!

Keep everything plain and simple, no numnahs or saddle cloths showing. A snaffle bridle for novice classes and double for open, no martingale. Wear a hacking jacket, tie and beige, corn or yellow jods. Have a look at some of the photographers websites they should give you the idea.

this is my welsh cob in an M&M class yesterday, correctly turned out. You're never going to win an M&M class with a cross-bred though - it's designed for pure-breds. Doesnt matter how well you turn out or do your show, a nice purebred will always be put above you. At local level you might find yourself getting into the end of the line-up, but you'll always be battling against it with a cross. Even if it says it's open to unregistered ponies, it's still aimed at purebreds, just some dont have their papers.
