This week has been busy with a showjumping show and then showing show.

First up was SJ show (part of a summer points series) so keen to get some more points!

I had a lesson as well the week before and really improved our jumping.

J was being super lazy in the warm up and I was starting to panic however once he went in the ring be lit up!

First up was 80cm - he was rather fast and we got a fast DC for 1st!

Pats for the quirky pony :)

Next was the 90cm where unfortunately we got a little close to number two and it came down however ended on 4 fault. For some reason most people came for smaller classes so we actually ended up 2nd!

Took him in for the 1m which looked a rather large one to recent competitions but he was a totally superstar and tried his absolute heart out for a super DC for 1st!

Hopefully lots of points added to our total :)

Have changed his bit to a Wilkie snaffle which has improved him no end. He was really powering!

Today was a working hunter and showing show. This is only his 2nd ever working hunter and 1st ever time showing (he's 15!)

First up we did the novice intermediate WHP, not many people came for workers but I was worried about the course as it had flowers and branches everywhere including having to jump through some branches! I needn't have worried as he did a super clear round, unfortunately he was a bit spooky in his show and was 2nd.

Next we did the ridden veterans class. I was really looking forward to this one!
He was very obedient in the go round and the line up for his first go and to my surprise was pulled in 2nd :) :)

Looking lovely :)

We also did in hand veteran but unfortunately were not placed. (Placings only went to 3rd in each class - were medals as oppose to rosettes in each class then sashes/rosettes in championships)

So all in all a great week and v. Pleased with Ponio :)
