I took breeze to a riding club show yesterday, the ground was bad, courses we weird and mixed heights, some of the jumps in the 2ft3in where 2ft 6in! Also there had been loads of accidents, riders falling off etc.
Well, we went clear in the minimus, clear in the 2ft 3in ev en though my stirrup leather fell off, and one down in jump off as she was messing about trying to rear lol.
We had the planks down in the 2ft 6in which looked smaller than the 2ft 3in course! and in the 3ft we had number 5 down and she cat leaped the double which was massive anyway and i got punched out the saddle we cleared it though, and she surprised to see me off i think as she didnt canter off, i got bac on then jumped the last fence, had it down but i wanted to finish on jumping in the ring not witnh me on the floor! She was a star though she just got into gear as we came into the last double and jumped it huge!bless her such power, i just have to learn to stay on to it, but not many can if she cat leaps both parts of the double. lol good day though she has improved, so roll on next years summer shows!
