Okay so I have my first show sunday with my loan pony. She's only three so its in hand showing, showing her in three year old filly and part bred welsh! She's been shown before and always placed:) should I leave her natural or plait up? Also I have long boots and short boots but which ones should I wear? Thanks in advance!

For in hand showing you should wear trousers (not jodhpurs) in a contrasting colour to your pony's legs and short boots or shoes that you can run in :) Part breds would normally be shown with a plaited mane :)

I wear riding attire normally as I didn't want to have to buy new stuff and it was fine, but trousers and shoes is preferred. What colour are her legs? You want to contrast ideally :-)

she has three darker legs and one with a white sock just because shes totally awkward, like that!
