Shredded bank note bedding

You won't get shredded bank note bedding.

All counterfeit notes and old notes go back to the bank of england.

IF they shredded it they would be the only supplier.

BUT we (people in the industry) are sure the bank of England incinerate the notes, not shred.

I have seen it on ebay - it is the plain white bits off the edges that gets shredded for animal bedding. Cloth based though so not really sure how degradable it is!

Think i know the stuff you mean ! It's paper bedding but cotton paper so it apparently doesn't mush down like wood based paper and still biodegradable.

I used to use it years ago, it's brilliant, very absorbent compared to normal paper or cardboard. I only stopped as the guy I got it from stopped supplying it.

It is called Shredding4bedding and is based in either Berkshire or more likely Hampshire as they get the raw materials from Whitchurch near Overton. The owner sponsors the rugby club my son and husband play at.

I've used shredded money for bedding before - got a free load as a trial - makes lovely bedding but I found it took ages to break down in the muck heap.

with the cost of bedding these days it may be cheaper to shred your own money and make a bed out of it!!

I don't know whereabouts you are in the country but Fosseway Fodder in Somerset are selling it for £4 a bale, it came up on my Facebook yesterday.
