shredded paper?

How many people have used this and got along with it?

I have a 6yr old who eats her bed. This includes straw, shavings and sawdust tried them and she just starts eating it its frustrating. So I got thick rubber matting and popped a sprinkle down but so disgusting that everything was manky and she and her rugs were stinking of poo and pee

So I've managed to obtain a pretty much unltd supply of long cut shredded paper, looks like straw in length. Popped it in her bed, she immediately tasted it and spat it back out, pawed, tried again and same result then went to her trickle net

Now she's not in the stable a lot, better off out but is being ridden more so now needs to be in over night. I'm just going to treat it like everything else at the minute but can I have the pluses and minuses from those who actually use paper bedding please?

Try shredded bank notes - not like normal paper so doesn't go like papier mâché! Look for Dollar Bedding on Facebook - or google Shredding for Bedding. Very White too so always looks nice.

Shredded bank notes? Never heard of that lol!! Well it seems to be working!! I'm taking out very little and topping up with a bag daily and its looking good
